Playground in Canterbury

Clearview Primary School in Rolleston has opened its doors this year. One of
Canterbury’s fastest growing areas, Rolleston’s existing primary school doubled its roll from 300 in 2001 to 600 last year. The population growth led to the fast-tracking of the new school, which was completed by Mainzeal Construction in eight months. Clearview will eventually operate as a full primary, Years 1 to 8, with a roll of around 600, but initially will have 400 pupils in years 1 to 4. A secondary school and early childhood centre are also planned for the site.
