Testimonials From Our Clients
Some of our customers have been kind enough to write us a testimonial. You can find them below as we add them.
Kara Walters from Big Rock School
I work at Big Rock Primary School in Brighton, Dunedin. We have recently had a few items added to our playground, as well as some other items replaced. Tim and Ruth at Playgear have been absolutely amazing. I got in touch with them before Covid locked us down earlier in the year, and they have been so patient and understanding through the uncertainty of that period. They organised the border and soft-fall area for the new items, and the installation of everything was so easy. The contractors/fitters turned up when they said they would, and the whole process was a complete dream. They told me exactly what was going on and were fastidious in their workmanship. The few items we have added and replaced have completely revitalised the entire feel of the playground, and the kids are having a great time enjoying all of the amazing equipment. I would absolutely recommend Playgear to anyone who was after a playground upgrade, or something new. It was so pleasant and hassle free. Thanks Tim, Ruth, and all of the crew at Playgear.

Dunedin Gymnastics Academy
Dear Mr Grant
Thank you for your wonderful donation and support of Dunedin Gymnastic Academy through your trampoline sales. The money is being used to construct a climbing wall in the gym. This will be another challenge for the children in our preschool classes and another way for Nola and the other preschool coaches to help these young children develop the movement skills that are crucial for ongoing learning and development.
Its great to see good quality, innovative equipment helping to promote movement and learning both in our sport and your business.

Playground at Dunedin International Airport
“We really appreciated having the specialists from AJ Grant on board to design, manufacture and install the playground in our new terminal. They provided a design that not only met our requirements but exceeded all our expectations. They met the tight deadlines that were part and parcel of a staged redevelopment like ours and have provided us with a playground, the kids...... and parents clearly enjoy."

Otaru Playground
An A.J Grant playground was chosen as the ideal gift for the citizens of Otaru, Japan to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Sister City Relationship between that City and Dunedin, NZ.
Many Otaru children were present at the Opening Ceremony and their excitement when using the equipment for the first time was a clear indication that it will be used extensively by the present and future generations.

Commando Course
“It’s not a fixed unit, it moves; which requires the children to be much more adaptable in terms of strength. There does not appear to be much to it. Its just rope and wooden poles. However, it is much more demanding than fixed, inflexible sets of equipment. Because of the constant movement in the rope it requires additional strength and flexibility to hold on".
"The all - age facility complements traditional equipment superbly. It is very popular and has been in constant use since day one. We have noted an improved attitude to physical activity over time as children's upper body strength increases"
